Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
SiteHealth is operated by Softest, a company based in the United Arab Emirates ("we", "us", or "our"). We operate the sitehealth.io website and monitoring service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed version of your password. We never store passwords in plain text.
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with our service, including pages visited, features used, and browser type. This helps us improve the product.
Monitoring Data
We collect and store data related to the websites and services you monitor, including URLs, response times, status codes, SSL certificate details, and uptime history. This data is necessary to provide our core monitoring functionality.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve our monitoring service
- To send alerts and notifications about your monitored resources
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To communicate important service updates and announcements
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account or team, it is deactivated immediately and permanently erased within 30 days. Detailed monitoring check logs are kept for your plan's retention period (7 to 365 days) and then automatically purged; hourly uptime summaries are kept for up to 13 months so we can show long-term uptime history. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained for analytical purposes.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate SiteHealth:
- Stripe — for payment processing. Stripe collects and processes your payment information directly. We do not store your full credit card details.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — for hosting, data storage and infrastructure. Data is stored in the US-East-1 region.
- Resend — for delivering our emails (sign-up codes, account and billing emails, and monitor alerts). Resend receives the recipient's email address and the content of the email.
- Sentry — for error tracking and performance monitoring. For a sample of browser sessions, and for sessions in which an error occurs, Sentry records a replay of the page interactions with all text and form inputs masked, so that we can reproduce problems.
- Google — if you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us to sign you in.
- Your alert destinations — when a monitor changes state we send its name, target and status to the channels you configure (e.g. Slack, Discord, Telegram or your webhooks).
These providers process data in the United States. We share only what each needs to perform its service.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your authentication session and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. By using our service, you consent to the use of these essential cookies.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, regular security audits, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time through your account settings. You may also request a copy of your data by contacting us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
